diaNEOsis Survey – What Greeks Believe in 2017

A recent nationwide survey by the diaNEOsis Institute of Athens highlighting Greek popular opinion in a wide range of topics from religion to politics. Some of the finds include: 49.8% of individuals between 17-39 years of age do not believe in God. 71,2% of Greeks believe priests should not be paid with public funds but with the resources from the Orthodox Church. 41,8% say they would definitely oppose or more or less oppose the construction of mosques in Greece, and 66,6% believe there it is unlikely or highly unlikely for terrorist attacks to happen in Greece.
